Detroit Iron...

Does the bail out money Detroit is receiving create a relationship with the government that is irreversible? Will Washington begin to dictate the type of vehicles we wil have from which to choose? Does Detroit deserve the bail out money?

My concern is that the possible situation we-in the USA-will have to deal with if there is unfettered regulation imposed. In my opinion, we can't afford to not keep the iron coming out of Detroit and its affiliates simply because of what could possibly be very limited options coming from overseas. The choices are wide, but limited. That which seems to be holding sales back is the uneployment and the high credit score need to qualify for the limited financing. Another remote probability would be only having foreign cars competing in the professional levels of NHRA racing. Could we deal with that?
